CYPRESS PENCIL | Small Flower Parquet
CYPRESS PENCIL | Small Flower Parquet
I am a simple luxury, a humble pencil adorned with a delicate parquet of flowers featuring the Cohana logo. My lead is a soft 2B, perfect for drawing and design or simply jotting down your thoughts. I come with a genuine leather cap for effortless, convenient portability.
I will delight the senses, giving off the delicate aroma of the hinoki cypress every time you sharpen me. Pop my shavings in the wee bag so you can savour the beautiful fragrance for a while longer. I pair beautifully with the Asanoha Parquet Parquet Pencil Sharpener as a gift for a loved one or an indulgence for the true creative.
Fun Fact: Iwaki City in Fukushima Prefecture is considered the northern limit of the hinoki (Japanese cypress) tree and the area is famous for manufacturing chopsticks using timber from forest thinning, a necessary part of forest conservation and maintenance. Iwaki-Takahashi Inc established a factory in an abandoned elementary school and started making pencils with the forest thinning.
