Why I'm Better
Bio-based Material used by Valupa is 100% naturally derived and originates from bacteria fed with starch. The bacteria convert the starch and increase their cell mass by up to 80% - meaning the material is literally produced by nature. This process also helps reduce land use, which is often needed to grow crops for the starch used in other bio-based polymers.
