I embody all the wonderful qualities of linen. I am lustrous with a slightly rustic appeal. My fibres are strong and durable but have a lovely drape and I am cool so perfect for summer knits.
At first glance I may seem a touch stiff but don't be deceived by appearances. You'll be delighted at how nicely I knit up and the more I am used the softer and more beautiful I become. I'm a hidden gem.

Why I'm Better
Linen is strong, durable, highly water absorbent and breathable. The flax plant, from which linen is made, is resilient, needs minimal water and significantly less fertilizers and pesticides to grow than cotton. It is extremely versatile, none of the plant goes to waste, making linen inherently one of the most earth friendly fibres.
